Next week, students can get free of charge, on-site, flu vaccinations.

As part of a USW initiative to vaccinate undergraduate healthcare students against the flu (see full story here), there are a number of vaccinations remaining that we are able to offer out to colleagues and students.

From 21 to 25 November, vaccinations will be available on the Treforest site, in the new chiropractic building (C block – room C137) between 9.15 and 4.45 (until 4pm on Friday).

Vaccinations will be given by nurses working for our occupational health provider. You will need to complete a consent form prior to being given a vaccination. As vaccination slots will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, there may be busy periods during the day where they may be a short wait.

This is open to all students regardless of age and eligibility for a free, NHS vaccine.
